Suggestion 1:

Definitions would need to be consistent with those contained in UNCLOS, UNFSA, and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), including its Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilisation to the CBD (Nagoya Protocol), and other relevant international instruments, and adjusted to the context of marine biodiversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction.
